Antarctica - Vangelis (1983)

구라하라 고레요시(蔵原惟繕)감독의 일본 남극 탐험대의 이야기를 그린 다큐멘터리인 남극이야기 (南極物語, Antarctica, 1983) OST이다. 탐험대 썰매개를 남겨둔채 귀환후 1년만의 기적적인 생환을 기리며 도쿄타워앞에도 이 개의 동상이 있다. (タロ와 ジロ, 1959)
어떻게 남극에 개를 버려두고 올 수 있냐며 탐험대에게 비난이 빗발쳤단다.

One more kiss, dear - Vangelis (Blade Runner OST, 1982)

데커드가 조라(레플리컨트)를 죽이고 난뒤 선술집에서 칭타오술을 주문하는 장면에서 이 음악이 나온다.
(소리가 작게 나오기 때문에 잘 들어야지만 들을 수 있다능...)
이 장면에서 데커드는 또 다른 레플리컨트인 레이첼이 도망중이라는 걸 알게 되고..
우연히 그 자리에서 도망치는 레이첼을 발견하게 된다.

Heaven and Hell - Vangelis (1975)

우주에 대한 새로운 눈을 뜨게 해준 명 다큐멘터리 칼 세이건(Carl Sagan, 1934~1996)의 COSMOS. 이 다큐가 상당히 큰 영향을 미쳤던게 분명하다. 특히나 우주에 대한 경외심과 감동을 반젤리스의 음악이 일조한 것도 있을 것이다. 이 곡을 들으면서 밤하늘에 떠 있는 별을 보라!

이 앨범 A면은 Heaven B면은 Hell로 구성되어있다. 그중 So long ago, so clear는 A면 마지막 곡이다.
