벗꽃망울이 살짝 오른 비오는 어느날
나라(奈良)의 도다이지(東大寺)를 홀로 방문하자
입구부터 사슴들이 반갑다고 맞이해 주었다.
(가끔 나처럼 쓸쓸한 사슴도 있었지..)
가까운 카페에서 에스프레소 한잔 먹으며 심신을 정리한 뒤
(에스프레소 주문하면 왜 아메리카노가 나올까는 담에 생각키로하고..)
경건한 마음으로 도다이지의 대불을 보러갔다.
넓은 도다이지 앞마당을 지나 수학여행단을 뒤로하고
대불앞에 선 순간
그 압도적인 파워에 눌리고 말았다....
그리고 문옆에 앉아서
꽤 오랫동안 그 대불의 모습을 감상하였다.
(이 대불은 서기752년에 만들어 졌다고 한다...어쩌구...blah...)
그 당시 여러가지 고민들이 있었고
이 생각 저 생각 하면서
마냥 시간가는줄 모르고 바라만 보고 있었다.
그 시간이 그냥 편안하게 지나가고 있었다.

그 정적을 깨뜨린건 배에서 소리가 나고있었을 때였다.
조용히 일어나 다음을 기약하며
대불에게 마음속 인사를 하고
빛나는 사바세계(娑婆世界)로 나왔다.
쓰고보니 음악이 아니라 여행에 대한 기억되고 말았네.
신・의리없는 전쟁(新・仁義なき戦い, Battle without Honor or Humanity, 2000)의
(Kill Bill에도 나왔던) 테마곡이기도 하면서
출연도 하고 음악도 만들었던 호테이 토모야스(布袋寅泰)는
그 이전 사무라이픽션(サムライ・フィクション,1998)에서도 단번에 마음을 사로잡았다.
신성한 사원과 락공연이 과연 어울릴까? 하는 생각을 단번에 깨트린
호테이 토모야스(布袋寅泰)의 이 라이브는 대단히 멋지다.
더욱이 밤조명과 함께하면 이렇게 화려하구나~
우리는 불국사에서 이런거 하면 혼나지 않을까? ^^;
불국사에서 만남을 추구하면 안되는 걸까?
